BioWorks has hired Carlos Bográn as technical services director, the company announced.
Bográn will lead a team of technical managers and specialists that work closely with the BioWorks sales team to develop and support integrated pest management (IPM) programs for growers and channel partners in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Central America.
Bográn has more than 30 years of IPM experience. Most recently, he was senior technical manager at OHP/ American Vanguard, where he led IPM product development and technical support of specialty crop growers throughout North America.
Prior to OHP, he was associate professor and extension specialist at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, where he developed applied research and education programs focusing on integrated management of arthropod pests and plant diseases. He also implemented educational initiatives in entomology and plant pathology that supported English and Spanish-speaking professionals.
