The Integrated Crop Pollination Project, has released a new video explaining the importance of diversifying sources of pollination and using farm management practices that support pollinators.
The project is a research initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture's Specialty Crop Research Initiative to study crop pollination across North America.
Having more than one type of pollinator working crop flowers can help maximize the pollination of a crop and using management practices that support pollinators can help build the diverse wild bee communities that contribute to reliable, economical pollination of crops.
