Madison, WI - Problem-solving products don’t just find their way to shelves on their own, it’s trained people that put them there.
At least that’s the motto of the new leadership at Gempler’s. Carl Atwell, the company’s new president, purchased Gempler’s in January 2019. The company then relaunched the website in March to improve functionality and better showcase its curated selection of products.
“If you’re one of the small business owners we’ve served over the years, I want you to know we’re still the great company we always have been,” Atwell said. “We’re even more committed to excellence, more demanding of ourselves, more disciplined, and unwilling to compromise from the high standards we’ve set for our products.”
Gempler’s celebrates its 80th birthday this year. A Midwestern company rooted in Midwestern values, Atwell and his team see themselves as an extended arm of your in-house buying team.
Gempler’s aims to put customers first with its new Shipping Saver program. Quick turn-around service and on-time deliveries are of top importance to consumers, so all orders placed by 3 p.m. ship out the same business day.
Customer service representatives are knowledgeable about Gempler’s products and ready to provide solutions to extend the lifetime of products.
“I have multiple accounts that email me directly to place orders or if they have any questions,” Brenda, a customer service representative, said. “It helps to have one point of contact who knows your account and how to make your job easier.”
Gempler’s promotes maintenance and sustainability instead of using products as disposable commodities.
“Our customer service team is knowledgeable about the product selection and committed to finding a solution that works best for the customer,” Atwell said.
“Every company says customers are their number one priority. At Gempler’s, we walk the walk and treat our customers like a neighbor, not a number.”
